WEBSITE DESIGN & DEVELOPMENT

The goal of this project is to design and develop a professional, visually interesting, easy to navigate, mobile responsive website for the Client’s domain.

The new website design will focus on the following:

  • Professional Design: A visually appealing and user-friendly design that reflects your brand identity.
  • Intuitive Navigation: A clear and easy-to-navigate structure to guide visitors through your website.
  • WordPress: A robust content management system (CMS) that empowers you to manage and update your website content with ease.
  • Mobile Optimization: A responsive design that ensures optimal viewing and functionality across all devices, including smartphones and tablets.

In order to develop a web site that fulfills all the goals of this project, the proposed web development will take place in several distinct phases:

Planning:

The scope, requirements, and description of the final web site will be determined, including the overarching site goals, number of pages, site hierarchy, forms, animations/graphics, and other specialized content. Client will be presented with a design questionnaire to determine style preferences.

Concept Design:

Webene will create a new website design based on client requirements. The new design will focus on the elements outlined in client’s design questionnaire – including structure and organization, layouts, photos and images.

  • In-depth ConsultationWe will collaborate closely with you to understand your vision and goals. The design process will be guided by your comprehensive design questionnaire responses.
  • Design Concept Development – Based on your input, we will create design mockups that highlight the structure, organization, layout, and visual elements of your website. Design mock-ups will be created and presented to client within two weeks.
  • Client Review and Feedback – We will present the design mockups for your review and incorporate your feedback into up to two revision rounds.
  • Website Development – Once the design is finalized, we will begin the development process to bring your website to life.

Development / Programming

  • CMS Installation – We will install a robust Content Management System (CMS) tailored to your specific needs.  The CMS used for your site will be WordPress
  • Theme Customization – Our skilled designers will transform the approved design mockups into a custom website theme. This theme will be meticulously crafted to align with your brand identity and user experience goals.
  • Theme Integration – The custom theme will be seamlessly integrated with the CMS, ensuring a smooth and efficient content management process.
  • Site Structure and Navigation – We will develop a clear and intuitive site structure, including navigation menus and internal linking, to optimize user experience and search engine visibility.

Page Development:

We will create pages that align with the project’s scope and requirements, incorporating a variety of content formats such as text, images, videos, and PDFs. For existing websites, we will carefully migrate up to 10 pages of content to the new website or for a first time site we will create up to 10 pages. This includes transferring text, images, and other media elements. We will provide training on how to use the CMS to add, edit, and manage content on your website after launch.

  1. Home page – A visually striking hero image or slideshow showcasing with headline.  A concise and compelling overview of BridgePoint Realty’s mission, values, and expertise. Integrated property listing using Crexi Fuse. A prominent “Contact Us” button or form to encourage immediate engagement.
  2. About  – Detailed information about BridgePoint Realty and the team.
  3. Services – Showcase of the services offered by BridgePoint Realty.
  4. Contact Us – Clear and accessible contact information, including phone number, email address, and physical address. A user-friendly form for visitors to submit inquiries and requests.
  5. News – Latest news, happenings and articles by BridgePoint Realty.
  6. Listings – Integrated property listing using Crexi Fuse.
  7. Sold Properties – Integrated property listing using Crexi Fuse.
  8. Testimonials – Listing of client testimonials
  9. Privacy Policy – Required page. A detailed privacy policy outlining the company’s data collection and usage practices.
  10. Optional page

After the initial content is added to the new website, clients will have two opportunities to request revisions. Any additional changes beyond these two revisions will be subject to additional charges.

On-Site SEO (Search Engine Optimization)

Webene will provide the following onsite search engine optimiations:

  • Keyword Optimization: Naturally incorporating target keywords within your content (titles, headings, body text, image alt text, etc.) without overdoing it (keyword stuffing).
  • Title Tags: Crafting compelling and keyword-rich title tags for each page.
  • Meta Descriptions: Writing informative and enticing meta descriptions that encourage users to click on your page in SERPs.
  • Header Tags (H1-H6): Using header tags to structure your content and highlight important information.
  • Image Optimization: Optimizing images by using descriptive file names and alt text.
  • Internal Linking: Linking between relevant pages within your website to improve navigation and distribute link equity.
  • Website Structure: Creating a logical and easy-to-navigate website structure with clear URLs.
  • Page Speed: Optimizing your website’s loading speed, as it’s a significant ranking factor.
  • Mobile-Friendliness: Ensuring your website is responsive and provides a good user experience on all devices (desktops, tablets, smartphones).
  • XML Sitemap: Creating and submitting an XML sitemap to help search engines discover and index your pages.
  • Robots.txt: Using a robots.txt file to control which parts of your website search engines should crawl and index.
  • HTTPS: Using HTTPS to ensure the security of your website.
  • Easy Navigation: Making it easy for users to find the information they’re looking for.

Payment Terms:

50% of total is due at signing
50% of the total is due when the project is completed or 30 days after project start date (whichever comes first).
Monthly services - such as hosting and SEO - require a credit card on file.
Project restart fee - If there is no response or communication from you on your project or if we do not receive required material after multiple attempts, after 30 days your project is forfeited and if you choose there is a restart fee of $250.

Additional Considerations:

- Client to provide photos, videos and other images used for the website. If stock photos are required, they will be quoted by the piece.
- Client to provide text copy for the website.

Requirements:

- Registered website domain name
- LAMP hosting account
- PHP 8.x minimum
- MySQL 5 minimum
- phpMyAdmin
- FTP Login Information
- Hosting Account Login Information
- Client to provide all images and text content for website design and development.

Project Timeframe:

Design mock-ups will be created and presented to the client within two weeks upon acceptance of this Estimate, receipt of 50% deposit and completed design questionnaire. Website programming will be completed within 3 weeks (unless noted otherwise within project details) after design mock-ups have been approved and after the client had provided all website content.

Terms & Conditions:

The above-named client (referred to herein as “client”) has engaged Webene, LLC (hereinafter “Webene”) for the project detailed in the “Description” section of this estimate.

1. SERVICES RENDERED. Webene agrees to perform the project detailed in the “Description” section of this agreement. All services described herein are to be performed by Webene &/or its contractors in accordance with the most commonly accepted standards and practices of the Web Services Industry. That is to say, Webene will use web site design technologies that are most universally acceptable in order to satisfy the broadest web market possible.

2. COST. Notwithstanding any prices listed in literature or on Web pages, the client and Webene agree that the services described in this contract shall be completed for the amount shown under Project Total.

3. ADDITIONAL SERVICES. The terms and conditions set forth in this document constitute the sole agreement between Webene and the client regarding this project. Any additional work not specified in this contract must be authorized in writing. Should the client desire additional services beyond the original “Description”; the client agrees to pay WEBENE an additional $150 per hour.

4. SUBCONTRACTING. Webene reserves the right to assign other Web designers or subcontractors to this project.

5. WARRANTIES AND LIABILITY. Webene does not warrant that the functions of the website will meet the client’s expectations of site traffic or resulting business. In no event will Webene or its sub-contractors be liable to the client or any third party for any damages, including any lost profits, lost savings or other incidental, consequential or special damages arising out of the operation of or inability to operate these Web pages or Web site, even if Webene has been advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. TRADEMARKS & COPYRIGHTS. The client represents to Webene and unconditionally guarantees that any elements of text, graphics, photos, designs, trademarks, or other artwork furnished to Webene for inclusion in any work are owned by the client, or that the client has permission from the rightful owner to use each of these elements, and will hold harmless, protect, and defend Webene from any claim or suit arising from the use of such elements furnished by the client. Copyright to the assembled work of Web pages produced by Webene is owned by Webene. Upon final payment of this contract, all rights owned by Webene as to the design, graphics, and text in this Web site transfer to the client. Webene owns the copyright for this document and all its contents. This proposal should be considered private and confidential and may not be shared with any third party without the prior written permission of Webene.

7. DESIGN CREDIT. Client agrees that Webene may put a byline on the bottom of their website establishing design and development credit with an active text HTML hyperlink to Webene’s website. The Client also agrees that the website and/or any work may be included in Webene’s portfolio.

8. LITIGATION. Any disputes arising from this contract will be arbitrated in San Diego County, California. The Client shall pay all arbitration and court costs, reasonable attorney’s fees, and legal interests on any award of judgment in favor of Webene. This Agreement shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, USA.

9. REFUND POLICY. The Client may halt work and request for a refund within 3 business days of the date of this contract by notifying Webene via email. A service fee, 15% of the project will be charged for refund if a project is canceled after the beginning of the project. If at any time of the request for a refund, work has been completed beyond the amount covered by the initial payment, Client shall be liable to pay for all work completed at the hourly rate of $150, which could result in higher fees than the quote prices given.

Undersigned hereby agree to the terms, conditions, and stipulations of this agreement on behalf of his or her organization or business. This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding of the parties. Any changes or modifications thereto must be in writing and signed by both parties.
